SHENANIGANS: RAHM BUNKUMSpain’s Jon Rahm could have shot a 76 at Muirfield Village yesterday and still won the Memorial Tournament if it wasn’t for the fact he’d been forced to withdraw the day before because of a failed Covid test. He’d had the test that day after shooting a 65, including a hole-in-one, following the conclusion of his delayed second round. His playing partner on Saturday was eventual “winner” Patrick Cantlay who, given the circumstances, one would also have expected to be in danger of falling foul of a Covid test. So, at the end of their rounds on day three, a simple solution for the PGA to take would be to test both players, and fellow playing partner Scottie Scheffler, before the start of the final round... as Rahm was clearly not ill having just fired a 64 to take a six-stroke lead in the tournament. Given the unpredictability of false positives with the pointless tests, Rahm may have easily tested negative and be clear to continue the following day. But that wouldn’t have done anything to stoke up the fear about the plandemic scam, so Rahm took the bullet and Cantlay goes into the history books having claimed a second Memorial success in three years. Now Cantlay says he feels bad and that it was a weird win but there was nothing he could have done. Well, sorry I have to disagree, he could have refused to accept the trophy in deference to Rahm’s appalling treatment. He, as could every other player in the tournament, have withdrawn in a show of support for Rahm. But no, it’s much easier not to rock the boat and carry on as normal and pretend there really is a killer virus circulating in our world that 99.9% of the population are going to recover from unless they have very serious underlying medical conditions. It’s all nonsense… and it’s killing sport, humanity and having a hugely detrimental affect on society. Congratulations to Rahm on accepting the injustice with great dignity, but I for one call shenanigans… this action has opened the door for the PGA to manipulate the result of any tournament they choose, roll on the US Open!vocal.media/unbalanced/rahm-a-drama-ding-dong-devalues-memorial-tournament ... RAHM A DRAMA DING DONGCredit to Jon Rahm, on his part he seems to have taken his forced withdrawal from the Memorial Tournament on the chin… but when a man who is leading a championship by six strokes going into the final day is asked to withdraw because of a bogus virus to give credence to the lunacy overwhelming our world at the moment you have to question why sports’ governing bodies are playing along with this nonsense: wildaboutit.com/2021/06/06/rahm-a-drama-ding-dong-devalues-memorial-tournament/ ...
